Rita Cosby Sued for "Blonde Ambition"

Rita Cosby is sued by Anna Nicole Smith's companion Howard K. Stern for $60 million, charging that more than a dozen passages in her tell-all best seller, "Blonde Ambition: The Untold Story Behind Anna Nicole Smith's Death," damaged his reputation.

Howard Stern cites a passage in which Cosby writes that Smith, in front of her nannies in the Bahamas, regularly watched a video of Stern and Larry Birkhead - the father of Smith's baby having sex. Stern contends he also was defamed when Cosby wrote that he "pimped" Smith to as many as 50 men a year and suggested that he played a role in her death.

The former Playboy Playmate Anna Nicole Smith died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs in 2007.

Israel Mireles is charged with capital murder, rape and aggravated criminal sodomy in Emily Sander's death. Prosecutors try to send him to trial for the crime,by making it public on tuesday. Mireles was arrested in Mexico in 2007 and extradited to the U.S.

Miss Pennsylvania Shayna Rudd was crowned as Miss Black USA, Shayna Rudd said

“It was really surprising because all of the ladies were so fabulous,”

about her big win at the University of District of Columbia Theater on Aug. 3.
Rudd stepped ahead of the line in her shimmery pink evening gown.

New Miss Black USA, Rudd won a bevy of prizes that included a $5,000 wardrobe from Stevens, cash scholarships, a year’s worth of make up from African-American cosmetics company Black Opal, where she will also serve as a spokesperson, and an expense paid trip to Ghana, among many other prizes.

“I’m the kind of Black woman that wakes up every morning and loves to be Black,”

Rudd says proudly.

“So it wasn’t for me, but I can’t say that it’s not for every Black woman.”

“I’m by no means a pageant girl. You would look at me and be like, ‘Miss Black who?’”

she says.

“I don’t do the diamonds or the glimmer. All of that is nice but the meaning behind it all is what draws me in.”

She also said

“I have gotten to the point of the competition where I wasn't worried about winning. I was just worried about doing my very best because it was my last pageant. So, I just wanted to have a good time.”

Rebecca Gayheart with her hubby Eric Dane and former beauty queen Kari Ann Peniche have a leaked tape surfacing on net.The website Defamer.com released the leaked video tape of Grey's Anatomy star Eric Dane last Monday.
